Boulton builds containerised power stations that generate electricity on your site, at a fraction of the grid price. The queue is optional.
Containerised power stations, designed and built in Britain.
Every unit is built and tested at full load in our UK facility, then arrives on a truck: precision gas engine, generator, heat recovery and controls in a single enclosure.
40% of the fuel becomes electricity. Another 51% becomes usable heat for processes, hot water or cooling. The grid wastes half of every unit it sells you.
From signed agreement to generation in around six months, handled end to end: design, consents, gas works, commissioning. The equivalent grid connection is quoted in years.
Every engine runs on biomethane with no conversion cost, and hydrogen blending is on the engineering roadmap. Decarbonisation without new hardware.
Boulton combines precision manufacturing, full-load testing, heat-recovery engineering and long-term operations for data centres and industrial sites that cannot afford uncertainty.
“Boulton brought the discipline we needed: a clear proposal, honest numbers, and a machine that arrived working.”

Data centres, factories and cold storage share one constraint: the grid. On-site generation covers the load the network cannot deliver.
